  • The Welder Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components and structures to support assembly shop production. This role reads blueprints/specs, performs MIG/TIG/stick welding as required, fabricates brackets, skids, and structural assemblies, and ensures finished work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform welding (MIG, TIG, stick as applicable) on steel, aluminum, or other materials per job requirements
  • Maintain welding equipment and shop tools; report maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with assembly team to meet production schedules
  • Provide occasional fabrication support to panelshop/electrical department as needed

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MIG/TIG/stick welding methods
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience with hand/power tools (grinders, cutters, drills, etc.)
  • Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, work in shop conditions
  • Experience fabricating industrial equipment, skids, or enclosures
  • Familiarity with structural steel and sheet metal work
  • This role reads blueprints/specs, performs MIG/TIG/stick welding as required, fabricates brackets, skids, and structural assemblies, and ensures finished work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Cut, grind, and finish metal parts to required tolerances

Nice to have

  • Proven experience as a welder-fabricator (certification preferred, e.g., AWS)
