Responsibilities
- As a Mechanical Designer, you will join our engineering team and design solutions for the future of Energy.
- Your designs will change the world, span everything from structures to electrical integration by creating models and drawings using NX.
- You will be integral to guiding the future of design standards at Helion.
- Design high-quality 3D models using CAD software with NX.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design and production feasibility
- Manage upper-level assemblies for our next-generation fusion machines
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve design and production
- We are a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, with the mission to build the world's first fusion power plant, enabling a future with unlimited clean electricity.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software, such as NX, or SolidWorks with an ability to create complex models and drawings
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software systems, and experience managing high-level bills of material through multiple phases of the development cycle
- Experience with product design in the energy, aerospace, or manufacturing industries
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of experience in CAD software and assembly management
