About the role
- Be the go-to Linux admin for networking, storage, virtualization, and distributed systems.
- Wire up configuration management, observability, and orchestration so nothing breaks silently.
- Ruthlessly automate yourself out of a job-then automate the automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and own production-grade Python + shell automation frameworks (deployment, monitoring, self-healing, lifecycle).
- Treat infrastructure as code: design, deploy, and version-control everything with Ansible and Terraform across Debian and RHEL fleets.
- Partner with DevOps, NetEng, and app teams to deliver reproducible, auditable environments.
- Jump into the data center ~1 day/month: rack servers, run cables, swap drives, high-five the robots.

- You can dead-lift 60 lbs of server without spilling your coffee.
