Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Structures Mechanics for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

MISCELLANEOUS: *This role is supporting a contract that is governed by SCA.

1+ years of experience working with non-porous metals, such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components
Knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems
Knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work
The position requires the ability to pass an assessment at the end of training cycle •The position requires compliance to SA Site Tool and FOD procedure
The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment
Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hand, and arms as required.
Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities

23021/Aircraft Mechanic I -Minimum Hourly Rate= $35.91/hour Additional Hourly Benefit Allowance=$5.09Health & Welfare Benefit (paid for all straight time hours worked up to 40 hours per week)
11 paid holidays per year.

2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service; 3 weeks paid vacation after 5 years of service; 4 weeks paid vacation after 15 years of service.
1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours of paid sick leave each year.
