- The Patient Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of customer service and patient care tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Ensures documentation and patient records are prepared and organized.
Responsibilities
- Will perform patient registration in various systems.
- Will maintain a clean and organized work area.
- systems and on written documents.
- Performs all duties within HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- For Mobile Radiology and Oncology, CPR Certification must be obtained prior to hire.
- As applicable, valid state driver's license required.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
- Local travel may be required to support multiple sites.
- All candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

- We are currently hiring for a Patient Coordinator at our mobile units in Beckley, WV at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Plateau Medical Center and Summers County ARH.
- May be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization.
- May perform preliminary screening of patients prior to procedures, which may include medical history.
