Responsibilities

  • Design Engineering: Lead the design, development, and execution of engineered-to-order (ETO) and integrated pump package projects, creating high-quality 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing packages.
  • Project Execution: Manage engineering deliverables from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia.
  • 4-7 years of experience in mechanical or structural design engineering within industrial or heavy equipment environments.
  • Experience with rotating equipment, slurry pumps, pump packages, or custom-engineered systems.
  • Proficiency with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, AutoCAD, GD&T, and SAP
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, casting, materials selection, and industrial equipment installation.
  • Experience in pulp and paper, chemical, mining, oil and gas, or power industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with FEA and stress analysis.

Compensation

  • Minimal travel required (approximately 5-10 times per year) to customer sites, vendors, and service centers across Canada.
