About the role
- The Distribution Center Manager oversees all warehouse and yard operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, optimizing processes, and leading a high-performing team.
- This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily distribution operations to meet IPEX quality and service standards
- Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff
- Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements (including SAP EWM)
- Professional development and certification support
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Required use of PPE (safety glasses, vest, gloves, safety shoes, etc.)
- Perform other duties as required
Skills
- 3-5 years of team management experience
- Experience with SAP EWM
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Understanding of health and safety legislation
