Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the dedicated co-investment team in sourcing and evaluating opportunities
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring activities, including manager reviews and performance analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with general partners and industry participants to support a robust and active investment pipeline
- The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and collaborate across the broader private equity platform, including co-investments and secondaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with strong academics in finance, economics, business or a related field
- 4-7 years of relevant experience at an institutional investment firm, asset manager, or other financial institution with exposure to underwriting private equity fund investments
- Excellent qualitative assessment skills, with the ability to identify, synthesize, and communicate key investment merits and risks
- High degree of initiative, intellectual curiosity, integrity, and commercial judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, global environment
- Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills
- Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 which is specific to California and may change in the future. Aksia pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
