- This role blends traditional accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on innovation, process improvement, and automation.
- The ideal candidate will contribute to core month-end close activities while also helping improve accounting workflows through technology, data analysis, and AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial data, streamline reporting, and drive operational efficiency
Requirements
- Develop a strong understanding of transaction flows and ensure accounting treatment aligns with US GAAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and journal entry preparation
Nice to have
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in accounting or finance.
- Casino industry experience is a plus!
- Experience or familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) preferred
Compensation
- $70,000 - $90,000 USD
