About the role

  • This position is responsible for supporting the coordination and maintenance of one or more of the CardWorks' operating facilities.
  • This role includes overseeing the internal office environment and, in some cases, managing the external grounds.
  • The hourly range for this position, if located in NY Metro/NY State is $24.00 to $27.50.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in the restrooms and in and out of the building
  • Performs upkeep and minor improvements to existing assets such as replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, minor repair to various technology equipment (printers, desktop PCs, toner cartridges).
  • Coordinates and supports external vendors with routine maintenance, service visits and specialty tasks.
  • Supports facility improvements projects through highlighting potential concerns and offering viable suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform janitorial duties around the facility i.e trash removal, cleaning up all areas in the building when necessary, vacuuming etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel/commute to or between the Woodbury, Long Island office and our NYC office.
  • May be required to work additional hours on an as needed basis
  • Orders supplies and ensure adequate inventory of needed items are on hand in order to accomplish required maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • One (1) year of related facilities maintenance experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Required to be available, as part of the Critical Response team, on an ad hoc basis, as needed during emergency situations.

Compensation

  • $24k-$28k
