About the role

  • You will thrive in a fast-paced hardware environment where responsiveness, organization, and attention to detail are critical.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase order acknowledgements, shipment schedules, and delivery status.
  • Track open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • As a Buyer, you will support the day-to-day execution of procurement activities across mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical commodities.
  • You will manage purchase orders, supplier communications, delivery tracking, and system updates to ensure materials are available to support engineering builds and production requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and supplier information within enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Support shortage management activities and escalate delivery concerns as needed.
  • Support supplier onboarding and documentation activities.
  • Coordinate with Planning and Engineering teams to support prototype and production builds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or practical equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

Compensation

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or practical equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing or hardware environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
