About the role
- The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and components according to engineering drawings and production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform wiring operations including cutting, stripping, crimping, and mounting wires to connect electrical units.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and ESD handling protocols.
- Document work progress and report any discrepancies or delays to the supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Lean practices.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE experience as electrical assembler or panel building.
- MUST HAVE general electrical hand tools(wrenches, socket set, screw drivers, small hammer, allen wrenches)
- Must be able to read and translate electrical schematics
- Must have a working knowledge and skills with drills, taps, hole punches, jig saw, hole saw, conduit benders, pipe threading.
- MUST be willing to work 5 X 8hr days per week.
- Must be able to stand for extended amounts of time and work in an industrial environment(most time spent at WeldAll a large scale manufacturing and welding facility)
