About the role

  • The Investment Data Implementation team, part of the Investment Implementation Department, is responsible for owning, deeply understanding, and delivering data that fuel Bridgewater's investment systems.
  • The team is responsible for two critical business functions.
  • As part of the research process, the data implementation team must deeply understand the needs of our investors and then discover, onboard, and assess data sources against those needs.

  • Understand and deliver internal client needs. Partner with our internal clients to understand and offer implementation designs and deliver solutions, while proactively educating and communicating outcomes to ACLs (Asset Class Leads) and CIOs.

  • The team is also responsible for owning Bridgewater's data and signals generation system, ensuring that the investment intent is achieved through daily data releases and market action.
  • About Your Role
  • The Senior Manager role is responsible for delivering the investment needs of our CIOs and asset class leads.
  • It is an action-oriented responsibility, where the day-to-day work directly drives Bridgewater's investment signal generation.
  • You will work closely with the Head of Investment Data and Signals Implementation, the Department Head, and our investment leadership to deliver Bridgewater's investment operations.
  • You'll independently lead the team, demonstrating strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
  • You will deliver the capabilities that facilitate the continued expansion of investment data that is needed to support investor alpha generation and the performance of Bridgewater's investment products.
