About the role

  • Ensures that project milestones are identified and tracked to proactively identify and resolve issues and mitigates risks that may threaten the project delivery.
  • Ensure clear communication within the project management teams and towards management.
  • Ensure new product development meetings are robust and time effective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage / Lead Carling Project Management team (USA, Mexico, China). Accountable for results of the team. 40%
  • Design engineering experience a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.S. in engineering is required so that the manager is able to understand the new product objectives & challenges, design criteria and product's functional performance.
  • 10+ years of experience in product development environment.
  • Ability to plan & maintain a budget, and required team management skills to direct & lead subordinators
  • Automotive OEM's and/or Tier 1 customer interface experience required.
