About the role
- Ensures that project milestones are identified and tracked to proactively identify and resolve issues and mitigates risks that may threaten the project delivery.
- Ensure clear communication within the project management teams and towards management.
- Ensure new product development meetings are robust and time effective.
Responsibilities
- Manage / Lead Carling Project Management team (USA, Mexico, China). Accountable for results of the team. 40%
- Design engineering experience a plus.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.S. in engineering is required so that the manager is able to understand the new product objectives & challenges, design criteria and product's functional performance.
- 10+ years of experience in product development environment.
- Ability to plan & maintain a budget, and required team management skills to direct & lead subordinators
- Automotive OEM's and/or Tier 1 customer interface experience required.
