About the role
- The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- This role involves responding to basic service requests, assisting in apartment make-readies, maintaining the exterior of the property, and ensuring clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.
- The Maintenance Technician I will also be responsible for trash removal, light cleaning, and maintaining the property's flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond to service requests.
- Maintain property exterior and common areas.
- Maintain flowerbeds, plants, grass areas, and pool.

Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required
- Experience with power tools and maintenance equipment.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
Compensation
- Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price.
- Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
