About the role

  • This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.

Responsibilities

  • We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
  • We are seeking a hardworking and safety-oriented individual to lead our Transport teams managing transport operations.
  • This role requires collaboration with internal and external teams to manage and coordinate transport operations.
  • Performs pre-mission dry runs to ensure functionality and operational readiness of transportation equipment and personnel Lead capital, overhead, and labor budget planning and execution.
  • Work directly with engineers to plan and execute transportation operations, ground support equipment (GSE) functionality, certification, and periodic maintenance of lifting tools and associated support equipment.
  • Has background managing transport operations of critical flight hardware and oversized loads including personnel management to support all transport operations.

Compensation

  • Stock Options for all regular employees (working at least 20 hours/week) Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
