About the role
- Financial Aid Administrator to ensure compliance with federal and state legal, fiscal and statutory regulations and university policies as well as to meet the needs of the students and the administration for UAT.
- Plans and organizes departments and college-wide administrators to ensure fair, equitable, honest and compliant administration of Federal and Institutional student aid programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage institutional default prevention program
- Help manage institutional recruitment efforts by conducting presentations with students and families at UAT open houses and new student orientations, and by designing communication materials and strategies on financial aid eligibility at UAT
- You show excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- You maintain trustworthiness, confidentiality, and are discreet
Requirements
- candidates must be willing and able to work in-person at the Tempe campus
- Bachelor's degree required
- You have at least 5 years of experience with the entire financial aid including but not limited to FAFSA, assisting with all required financial aid documents, verification, packaging, entrance and exit counseling, etc.
- You have experience interpreting, applying, and enforcing federal, state, and institutional policies, procedures, and regulations
- You can work independently on complex financial aid issues and processes
- You have tested experience with Title IV program, NSLDS, reconciliation compliance, and cash management
- This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing and able to work in-person at the Tempe campus

Compensation
- $58,000-$69,000 / annually (depending on experience)
