About the role
- 15 lightyears is seeking a full-time Commercial Electrician to join our growing team!
- Job is performed in various counties across Central Florida.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will perform electrical installation and maintenance on job sites.
- You'll read blueprints, install switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment, and handle a variety of electrical tasks to support general construction and solar projects.
- Assemble, install, maintain, and test electrical wiring and components for solar arrays/systems (AC and DC) and commercial buildings.
- Install ground leads, pull wiring through conduit, and secure electrical boxes, switches, and outlets.
- Perform electrical repair and installation from basic to mid-level tasks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, blueprints, and safe installation practices.
- Proficient with hand and power tools; experience with solar panels, inverters, panel boards, batteries, and related electrical equipment.
- Must be able to pass a Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
- Florida Driver's License with Safe Driving Record Required.
Compensation
- Starting Pay Range: $25+ hr.
