About the role

  • Prepare desktop and field based environmental assessment reports, regulatory submissions, and environmental management plans.
  • Act as field representative, conducting site inspections and reports and providing directions to external stakeholders (i.e. contractors and client representatives).
  • Work closely with Professionals from all other disciplines

Responsibilities

  • Our Water Resource and Environment Division manages projects involving watercourses, environmental and fisheries improvements, and erosion mitigation, that require provincial and federal permit approvals and/or notifications.
  • We also support various projects conducted by other Binnie Divisions, including highways, bridge replacements, road rehabilitation, culvert replacements, pump station upgrades, and other infrastructure developments.
  • This is an ideal role for a motivated candidate who is looking to further develop their career in environmental assessments, monitoring and reporting.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with project team members in the production of project deliverables and provide guidance where necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous related work experience conducting environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and reporting.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License required

  • The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $83,724 - $119,700 annually.
