About the role
- Work Arrangement This is an onsite position with potential CONUS and OCONUS travel.
- Inspects aircraft components to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Troubleshoots mechanical and avionics issues, replaces or repairs defective parts, and conducts routine preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Frequently required to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Occasionally required to life up to 70 lbs.
- Frequently required to work on knees, bend, crouch, and reach over head
- Completes aircraft and engine maintenance as required
- Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required
- Must have A&P license
- C-146A Wolfhound is the aircraft
- Must be able to pass a medical/dental physical for deployments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- High School Diploma
- 3-8 years of aircraft Maintenance experience.
- Experience working on C-146A Wolfhound aircraft
