About the role
- The Department of Educational Psychology is hiring a Core Teaching Faculty position to contribute to Administrative Leadership program through teaching and program coordination.
- This is a 9-month position with potential for summer teaching as available.
- The program has a strong commitment to culturally informed and equitable pedagogy and training.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of work unit employees involved in instructional support as needed
- Develops teaching techniques that enhance course effectiveness in alignment with desired outcomes and established strategy and trains faculty and other instructional staff in use of said instructional techniques and programs
- Develops grant proposals for instructional development and may serve as principal or co-principal investigator on grants to develop new teaching methods in the discipline
- Designs curriculum and/or techniques for instruction in a disciplinary area and suggests new ways of effective instruction in courses within that discipline
- This asset affirms the faculty's intent to continue to adapt, develop, and expand its efforts to serve diverse populations, train future scholars and practitioners, and promote an atmosphere of free inquiry.
Requirements

Nice to have
- Experience working with graduate students at the master and doctoral levels, including advising master's students and doctoral candidates, and serving on doctoral project committees.
Compensation
- The target hiring range is $65,000-$70,000 on a 9-month, academic year basis.
