About the role
- Millwright Mechanic PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating, through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities.
- We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Millwright Mechanic to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy.
- The Millwright Mechanic position is responsible for the maintenance of process equipment and machinery.
Requirements
- 4+ years Millwright/Mechanical Journeyman level work experience
- Occasionally an altered work schedule over an extended period may be required (maintenance outages and turnarounds)
- Candidate must have active TWIC card or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
Nice to have
- Possess one of the following certifications in a Mechanical discipline:
- Union or Company Apprenticeship
- Journeyman level Machinist
- Previous refinery or chemical plant experience.
- Conditions of Employment:
- Passing of pre-employment testing
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements including physical agility test, physical, background check, and drug/alcohol screening

Skills
- Able to use standard hand tools and battery operated tools
- Able to use precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Protractors, & Indicators).
