About the role
- This position will be responsible for overseeing the organization's administration, programs, strategic initiatives, financial management, fundraising, marketing, technology integration, and community engagement.
- This position reports directly to and works closely with the President while also collaborating with the Board Chair and Board of Directors.
- This is a New York-based position with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term strategic plans and organizational goals.
- Serve as a visible ambassador and spokesperson for the organization within the community and with external partners.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to support effective governance and informed decision-making.
- Support Board and committee meetings, including agenda development and implementation of Board directives.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant development, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities to support organizational growth and impact.
- Recruit, supervise, develop, and retain a high-performing and mission-driven staff.
- Establish and maintain organizational policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, community leaders, partner organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of senior leadership or nonprofit management experience.
- Proven success in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and operational management.
- Strong fundraising and donor engagement experience with a track record of developing sustainable revenue streams.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with a Board of Directors.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.

- $200,000 - $250,000 USD
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget and provide regular financial reporting to the Board.
