About the role
- Jude has a great opportunity for a Senior Scientist to work on translational preclinical studies using novel therapeutics for pediatric solid tumors.
- In this role, you will assist the principal investigator in providing oversight for a superb team of technicians using xenograft models of pediatric cancer to test and prioritize therapies for use in clinical trials in pediatric cancer.
Responsibilities
- Develops new research protocols, techniques, and procedures.
- Provides lab operation support and makes recommendations regarding equipment use and maintenance, supplies, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals of the department and institution.
- Technology may support portions of our process, but recruiting decisions involve human review and engagement.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years relevant work experience is required
- Eight (8) years of relevant work experience is required with a Master's degree
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required

Compensation
- In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St.
- Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
- A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $104,000 - $186,160 per year for the role of Senior Scientist- Stewart lab.
- This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
