About the role

  • As a Process Improvement Engineer, Aerospace Manufacturing you will cover all areas of Safety, Quality, Manufacturing Performance Improvement, World Class Manufacturing, Process and Capital Improvement, and Personal Growth.
  • You will work on-site at our Huntsville, AL facility and report to the Development Engineering Manager.
  • Work closely with operators to eliminate barriers to production.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for production team in the work cell. Work closely with operators to eliminate barriers to production. Provide technical support for day-to-day operations.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with quality team, design engineering team, new product development team, safety team, analytical lab, operators, and other manufacturing engineers on a regular basis to resolve problems, improve manufacturing processes, and improve safety of the work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or greater in Engineering or scientific discipline required.
  • 5+ years of experience within engineering or an equivalent environment required.
  • Ability to effectively work with floor level operators, manufacturing, quality and design engineering teams to drive positive change.
  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
