About the role

  • As an HVAC Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • You will test components, subassemblies, and complete systems to verify functionality, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Production & Operational Support
  • Collaborate closely with production and assembly teams to verify proper installation, wiring, and system functionality.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
  • Assist production operations as needed to support customer delivery commitments.
  • Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, components, and operations.
  • Experience using HVAC testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments across the organization.
  • Education & Certifications
  • HVAC Trade School Certification, Technical Diploma, or related education preferred.
