About the role
- The Electrical Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal stakeholders while managing projects in multiple locations.

- Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from project award through completion.
- Travel to project sites as needed to oversee project execution, conduct meetings, and support field operations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with field supervisors, foremen, superintendents, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize impacts.
- Review project billings, approve invoices, and support monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive travel is required, typically 75-100%, depending on project assignments.
- Overnight and extended travel may be required for the duration of assigned projects.
- This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work remotely from project sites for extended periods as business needs dictate.
- Ability to visit and navigate active construction sites.
- Ability to work in office environments, field offices, and active industrial or commercial construction sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
- Starting at $135,000 DOE Location: Traveling (based in Rock Springs, WY) The Traveling Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout at job sites throughout the United States.
