- SUMMARY: This position will work collaboratively in a cross-discipline technical team of engineers, programmers and maintenance personnel in the development and implementation of automation control systems for all the Zeeland Facility.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain electrical drawings.
- Create and maintain ladder logic
- Supports continuous electrical design improvement effort.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials and requisition electrical components.
- Maintains engineering documentation accuracy concerning revisions and design changes.
- Establish protocols, processes, and standards that create and maintain a safe work environment, product quality, and stable control conditions within the production equipment.
- Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation completing programming changes as necessary.
- Maintain electrical schematics.
- Maintain PLC documentation upon receipt from equipment suppliers and an archive of PLC programs and machine controls drawings in an electronic and/or paper format and throughout facility.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve automated equipment including devices, I/O, instruments, and all other components associated with automated processes to meet production and safety goals.
Requirements
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, process daily work orders, and complete required documentation.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently
Nice to have
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, programming experience with an ability to program PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems highly preferred
Skills
- Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, process daily work orders, and complete required documentation.
- Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Must reside in United States
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend and stoop
- Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling
- Frequent overhead work
- Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may be also be needed
- Basic math skills; percentages, fractions, and measurements
