About the role

  • Ingram Content Group (ICG ) is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join our team.
  • This individual promotes, coordinates and participates in sales and/or service activities among accounts or prospects in assigned territories for Ingram Book Company (IBC).
  • We have a strong preference for this person to live in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the other Ingram departments and business units to effectively manage and support assigned accounts.
  • Volunteer opportunities and in-kind drives for non-profits throughout the year
  • They also develop business with key accounts, as well as IBC wholesale programs and services leading to the growth of assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or year for year experience
  • 3 years sales in book industry, or related experience
  • The ideal candidate will have book industry experience and/or wholesale experience within the book industry and will be able to travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with wholesale within the book industry
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Compensation

  • $74,353 - $94,011 This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
