Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of short-term ( Assist in building, updating, and maintaining supply/demand models, market balances, pricing indicators, and inter-regional flow analyses under the guidance of senior team members
  • Support trading, marketing, and commercial teams by preparing analysis, reports, and scenario evaluations to aid decision-making
  • Deliver timely market intelligence, recurring reports, and ad hoc analysis to support commercial activities, asset evaluations, and business development initiatives
  • Support causes you care about with volunteer opportunities in and outside of work.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in market analysis, energy analytics, commodities, financial analysis, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of crude oil, refined products, natural gas, or broader energy market fundamentals
  • proficiency in Excel and SQL required.
  • Experience with Python, R, Databricks, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset
  • The Refined Products Analyst must be passionate about covering refined products markets and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that is constantly evolving.
