About the role
- The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all meals, assuring that the meals are prepared on time, assuring that sanitation, nutrition, and safety are priorities at all times, and assuming responsibility for following all recipes in order to maintain quality and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Helps maintain a high standard of physical excellence in the foodservice dining room and kitchen.
- Attends Community Building day activities.
- Maintain social, ethical, and organizational values and norms; build trust and confidence with the staff and with the students; respect confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
