Responsibilities
- The ability to customize commercial finite element tools or develop new in-house codes in modern programming languages such Python/MATLAB/C/C++
- Able to quickly grasp experimental setups and analyze data to validate models
- A drive towards commercially viable solutions
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or another relevant field with an EM background (physics, mechanical engineering, etc.)
- 7+ years of experience modeling electromagnetics using finite element method
- Experience modeling non-linear physics
- An ability to clearly express and critique ideas
- Ability to innovate towards solutions to complex problems
Nice to have
- Multi-physics FEM modeling with electromagnetics, heat transfer, mechanics, fluids, structures, etc.
- Experience working with superconducting non-linear physics
- Familiarity with agentic coding tools and best practices
- Experience with commercial finite element tools.
- COMSOL preferred

- $110k-$185k
