- Purpose: The Manufacturing Manager oversees all phases of the production operations within North Chicago API Pilot Plant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall good employee morale but at the same time manage to meet stricter Safety, Quality and Productivity Plant Goals.
- Maintains a cooperative and supportive relationship with other functions within the API Pilot Plant and other plant support functional areas.
- Maintains a running inventory balance of materials used for production.
- Lead and participate in projects related to cost reduction, yield improvements, energy conservation, product quality, safety and industrial hygiene to improve overall operations
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent deviation recurrence.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with GMPs
- Supervise operating personnel to assure that required manufacturing cGMP and Safety procedures are followed and the operating personnel are trained in all the applicable and required procedures and Company policies.
Nice to have
- List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10).
- Bachelor's in engineering or science with 8+ years or Master with 5 + years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Prior people leader experience strongly preferred.
