About the role

  • CHANEL is seeking a Senior Group Director, High-End Sales & Distribution for Watches & Fine Jewelry (WFJ) Division, based in New York.
  • This role is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for High Jewelry and High Watchmaking across the US, driving business growth while elevating CHANEL's position in the high-end luxury market.
  • Define clear KPIs to guide execution and measure performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design & implement the sales and distribution strategy of HIGH-END (High Jewelry & High watchmaking) in the US
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for high jewelry and high watchmaking.
  • Drive revenue through private in-store appointments and high-profile client events.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term strategies for high jewelry and high watchmaking. Define clear KPIs to guide execution and measure performance.
  • Sales & Business Development: Drive revenue through private in-store appointments and high-profile client events. Set and track sales targets by channel and product category.
  • Develop the existing team and recruit high-end sales talent, internally or externally, while identifying high potential internal talent.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of progressive leadership in luxury retail or high-value asset transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or design-related field
  • Deep knowledge of gemology, jewelry manufacturing, and historical provenance
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, financial forecasting, and P&L for high-margin categories.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business requires
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally across departments

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is 175,000 through 250,000.
  • Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position.
  • Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position.
