About the role
- The Adjunct Faculty in Avionics will be responsible for teaching courses in avionics technology, including but not limited to aircraft electrical systems, communications, navigation systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of avionics principles and a track record of using their knowledge to foster student achievement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge in avionics technologies and integrate this knowledge into course content to keep the curriculum relevant.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student performance and progress effectively.
Requirements
- An Associate degree combined with significant industry experience may be considered.
Nice to have
- Minimum of three years of experience in avionics maintenance, installation, or design, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of avionics systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of avionics systems, troubleshooting, and repair methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to effectively engage and inspire students.
- Familiarity with current teaching technologies and educational tools is advantageous.
