Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight for Immunology curricula, learner journeys, onboarding pathways, field readiness milestones, and capability-building experiences so the portfolio remains coherent, current, and easy to navigate
  • Collaborate with business partnerships, LEO and vendor partners, and business stakeholders to align portfolio priorities with available resources, timelines, budget considerations, and capacity constraints
  • Provide portfolio leadership for time-sensitive business requests, urgent updates, launch support, and cross-portfolio priorities across JJIM clinical portfolios, ensuring appropriate prioritization and coordinated execution
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports by setting clear expectations, clarifying priorities, removing barriers, creating focus, and enabling team members to contribute effectively to portfolio outcomes
  • Establish team ways of working, role clarity, operating rhythms, and workload practices that help the team manage competing priorities, sustain quality, and deliver against portfolio commitments
  • Resource & Capacity Management: Balances business demand against available resources, timelines, vendor support, project capacity, and implementation constraints; escalates risks and tradeoffs appropriately.
  • Communication & Influence: Communicates portfolio priorities, recommendations, risks, and decision rationale clearly; influences without authority and drives alignment in a matrix environment.
  • Collaboration & Teaming: Works effectively across portfolios and partner teams to reduce friction, share knowledge, create consistency, and promote operational continuity.
  • People Leadership & Coaching: Sets clear direction, coaches team members, provides actionable feedback, creates accountability, and supports individual growth while maintaining alignment to portfolio priorities.
  • Team Effectiveness & Culture Building: Creates an inclusive, collaborative, high-accountability team environment where people understand priorities, share knowledge, raise risks early, and work together to deliver quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Portfolio Management & Execution:
  • Owns the direction, coherence, health, and lifecycle management of the learning portfolio; identifies risks, dependencies, gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Strategic Prioritization:
  • Makes informed tradeoff decisions regarding learning demand, investment, sequencing, resource allocation, and retirement based on business value, learner impact, compliance considerations, and capacity.
  • Converts clinical portfolio direction, business priorities, scientific developments, and stakeholder input into actionable portfolio decisions, curriculum priorities, and learning roadmap recommendations.
  • Business & Domain Acumen:
  • Applies strong Immunology, field medical, commercial field, and pharmaceutical business understanding to portfolio planning, decision making, and stakeholder consultation.
  • Curriculum & Pathway Management:
  • Maintains strategic oversight of curricula, learning pathways, onboarding journeys, field readiness milestones, and role-based capability progression.
  • Portfolio Performance & Learning Measurement:
