About the role
- The ideal candidate resides in the Bel Air, MD or Washington DC area.
- This is a residence‑based role involving daily travel to customer sites within approximately a 250‑mile radius.
- Training is provided for skill development in cryogenics and industrial gases.
Responsibilities
- Able to trace and measure voltage/amperage on instrumentation circuits by following elementary loop diagrams and/or via phone support with engineers.
- Participate in after‑hours and weekend call‑outs as needed; maintain 24/7 availability.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods of time and, the ability to work well in a collaborative Team.
- Ability to travel.
- A valid driver's license, a good driving record and the ability to maintain a clean MVR are required.
- Proficiency with tools such as drills/impact drivers, portable grinders, bandsaws, general hand tools, brazing torches, electrical multi meters (including input simulators), and ladders.
- Ability to learn, understand, and comply with company safety procedures.
- Knowledge of and compliance with LOTO procedures to ensure safe maintenance conditions.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Required Skills / Abilities:
Nice to have
- A Technical degree is preferred but is not required.
- Welding or brazing experience is preferred but is not required.
