About the role

  • Overview & Responsibilities The Technical Supplier Coordinator Supervisor is the primary technical liaison between EEE and the approved suppliers of fabricated and machined components.
  • These components may be in the form of individual parts, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • This communication will be in the form of on-site meetings, as well as phone and email correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team of Supplier Technical Coordinators to improve the quality and on-time-delivery of EEE's supply base.
  • Develop technical information in the form of guidelines and checklists for use in manufacturing of Elliott components
  • Create procedures for the management of suppliers

Nice to have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Quality, Engineering or another related technical field
  • 10 years' applicable manufacturing or machining experience is required
  • A minimum of three years' experience in the direct supervision of hourly personnel in a manufacturing or machining environment
  • A Quality Certificate such as
  • ASQ, CQE, COA, CQT, CRE, Six Sigma Black Belt, CWI, or equivalent is preferred.
  • The individual must possess and utilize analytical skills with a working knowledge of castings, machining, and fabrication methods.
  • Position requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
  • Candidate should be familiar with materials and processes associated with manufacturing (including welding, NDT, metrology, quality
