To learn more about fairlife and its complete line of products, please visit fairlife.com. job purpose: The Senior Mechanical Engineer continuously evaluates the plant machines for reliability and effectiveness.
In fulfilling this role, the Senior Mechanical Engineer works closely with engineering team department members, maintenance, and operations.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer works with maintenance planning and operations to plan and schedule all preventative and predictive maintenance for machines as needed.

Perform design of experiments (DOE) to redesign systems creating chronic issues and develop sustainable solutions.
Maintain and update all documentation for machine centers, as needed (Schematics, manuals, PI&D).
Drive process improvements and present to the Engineering Department.
Demonstrate leadership skills by teaching technicians with how to perform technician PM's
Drive improvements through the CI processes and playbook that Goodyear has established.
Closely collaborate with the manufacturing and engineering team to clearly define engineering acceptance standards and specifications based on the voice of the customer.
Validate and characterize new processes, equipment and fixtures for production implementation focused on damage-free.
Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document engineering critical characteristics.
Collaborate with the Quality, Manufacturing and Maintenance Managers to reduce and eliminate downtime contained on the single agenda.
Perform BDA and RCA's for issues that arise from the production floor.

Create work orders and PM's through D365 and add all parts required for the scope of work to be performed.
