About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure for robot deployment pipelines
  • Build and maintain systems for automated robot software updates and provisioning
  • Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and environment management workflows
  • You'll own key initiatives that ensure our robots are securely deployed, monitored, and updated at scale, while also enabling fast and reliable development across the engineering org.
  • Own Observability and Reliability by implementing and evolving observability systems to:
  • Support environment provisioning, local dev experiences, and standardized testing environments
  • Drive Security and Compliance:
  • Collaborate Across the Organization:

Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership in DevOps and infrastructure projects
  • Have a proven track record with CI/CD systems, distributed systems, and developer tooling
  • Bring a strong understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments
  • Have experience implementing and scaling monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Have an interest in robotics and automation (robotics experience not required)

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $210,000, depending on experience.
  • Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots.
