- Caterpillar's BCP division is hiring for Supplier Development Engineer in Clayton, NC!
- You'll be the driving force behind supplier quality, setting the vision and strategy within the supply base that ensures every component, from concept to production, meets the highest standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems
- ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques
- Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities
- ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
- ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields or equivalent experience is required.
- Proven experience working within Supplier Quality for complex components or systems such as Hydraulics, Engines or Driveline etc.
Compensation
- $112,710.00 - $169,060.00
- Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
