About the role
- The Operations department of the Skirball Cultural Center seeks a capable, self-motivated, attentive, detail-oriented individual for the position of Porter.
- This person is responsible for maintaining public, office, and surrounding facilities in clean and orderly condition to meet health and safety standards.
- This is a variable-hour, on-call position.
Responsibilities
- Events/Meetings Sets up tables, chairs, stands, boxes, equipment, etc. in accordance with pre-determined design plans.
- General Assists with loading and unloading of equipment and furniture as needed; transports, stores, and/or delivers items throughout campus as requested.
Requirements
- Performs related duties as required to meet Skirball mission and goals.
- They will also be required to set up and take down furniture and equipment for special events and meetings in accordance with design plans.
