The Center for Economic and Social Research (CESR) at the University of Southern California is seeking a Project Administrator to join our dynamic team.
This is a grant funded, one year (renewable) fixed term position and hybrid work arrangement.

The USC Schaeffer Institute develops evidence-based solutions to address the nation's most pressing policy issues.
It serves as a policy laboratory to develop and test ideas generated by the USC academic community, fosters civic engagement, and provides a forum to reach federal policymakers.
Coordinating a team to collect and communicate policy information for a multidisciplinary audience of researchers, and to create data products based on that policy information.
Coordinating the dissemination of resources created by the team and directing promotional activities to encourage and support their use.

Ability to produce careful and detail-oriented work
Ability to collect and interpret information from a variety of languages leveraging tools such as Google Translate
Experience in tracking project deliverables and timelines.
Minimum experience: 3 years
Degree in economics, public policy, or related quantitative social sciences field required.
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities
A strong applicant should be able to use LaTeX for document preparation or be able to learn LaTeX
A strong applicant should be able to use STATA or R for data analysis or be able to learn these analytic programs
Minimum education: Master's Degree
This is a grant funded position.
The annual base salary range for this position is $86,381- $95,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
