Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and maintain operational procedures, system descriptions (SDDs), and production documentation for nuclear facility processes Translate engineering concepts, system requirements, and operational workflows into clear, concise, and user-friendly procedures Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, safety, and quality personnel to gather technical input and validate documentation Support the "procedure-alization" of production and manufacturing processes for nuclear fuel operations.
- Perform document reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, regulatory compliance, and consistency with site standards Verify procedures through field walkdowns, observations, and validation activities Ensure all documentation complies with DOE requirements, nuclear quality assurance standards, and company procedures Maintain document control and configuration management practices for procedure updates and revisions Identify gaps in existing documentation and recommend improvements or consolidation Support audits, reviews, and readiness activities by providing complete and compliant documentation sets
