About the role
- Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of controllership including accounting, tax and financial reporting, bookkeeping as well as internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations including invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and General Ledger
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience or exposure to manufacturing or large inventory environments
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite ) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in documenting and automating month-end close processes
- Advanced degree in Accounting

Compensation
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process
- Competitive salary in the range of CAD $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience
