About the role

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with people both internal and external to the Company.
  • normally takes 6 months, or equivalent level of related work experience. (A Bachelor's degree in
  • Engineering or Engineering Technology meets the experience requirement)

Skills

  • A Working knowledge of electrical and construction nomenclature equipment and procedures.
  • Capable of accurately interpreting blueprints and company circuit maps
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code as it pertains to Eversource service requirements. Knowledge of
  • the National Electric Code as it pertains to service installations and customer requirements, and
  • knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code as it pertains to the Eversource distribution system.
  • Must hold a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Candidates must successfully pass the TECH Test.
  • Bargaining unit employees with rights to this posting will be given first consideration.
  • This is a union represented position so anyone going into this position would be required to become a member of the union.
