About the role

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentices work alongside Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics in maintaining our fleet of mining equipment in a shop or field environment.
  • Schedule: 4x4 shift schedule consisting of days and nights.

Responsibilities

  • Company-owned rental units available to new hires for short-term transition support (subject to availability)

Requirements

  • The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.

Compensation

  • $116,000 - $126,000 CAD / Year Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.
  • It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
  • Pre-employment Requirements candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
