About the role
- The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our business clients while supporting producers and underwriters with account management, policy servicing, and renewal preparation.
- It is a proactive and independent position.
- This is an in-office position and can be based out of any of our
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all service needs are met
- Support producers with new business quoting and proposal preparation
- Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer leads to producers
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation
- The Commercial Lines Account Manager will work closely with a team of licensed professionals and collaborate with a wide range of carriers in the independent agency system.
Requirements
- Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license required
- 5+ years of commercial insurance experience
- Designations such as CISR, CIC, or CRM are a plus
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial lines products including property, liability, auto, and workers' compensation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build relationships with carriers and clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
