About the role

This position contributes to competitive success, recruiting efforts, and student-athlete development while maintaining full compliance with NCAA Division II, conference, and institutional regulations.
SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL: This position generally does not supervise employees.

Program Support & Additional Duties
Support strength and conditioning programming for defensive backs in coordination with athletic performance staff
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Athletic Administration

Bachelor's degree/or equivalent working experience from an accredited institution
Must have a State of Texas or Arkansas class "C" vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Playing and/or coaching experience at the cornerback or defensive back position
Knowledge of defensive schemes and coverage concepts
Understanding of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Acceptable driving record and periodic completion of van safety course

Collegiate coaching experience, preferably at the NCAA Division II level
Recruiting experience at the collegiate level
Experience with video analysis platforms (e.g., Hudl, XOS)
A bility to travel extensively and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Working in all weather conditions, exposure to high noise levels, standing throughout the day, the ability to use a loud voice at practices and events and physical involvement in all practices and workouts with players.
