About the role

- Position Overview As a Chemotherapy Prep Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate and prompt preparation and dispensing of chemotherapeutic intravenous admixtures and other medications.
- You will work under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services to ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and clinical standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor drug inventory and maintain inventory logs
- Clean and maintain pharmacy equipment and workspaces
- Restock and maintain crash carts, extravasation kits, and tackle boxes
- Maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
- Strong mathematical proficiency and computer literacy
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medication dosing, pharmacy law, and medical terminology

- 2-3 years of IV mixing and related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
